Our Staff

  • Manal Toppozada, MA, MT-BC/L

    Manal is the founder and Executive Director of Note-Able Music Therapy Services. She obtained her master’s degree in music therapy from the University of the Pacific and completed her clinical internship at Oregon State Hospital in Salem. Manal has more than 20 years’ experience in hospital, forensic, education, mental health, and community-based settings. As a member of the Nevada State Music Therapy Task Force, she helped draft Senate Bill 190, which created a state license that oversees the profession of music therapy in Nevada. Manal is a professional violinist, performing regularly with the Reno Philharmonic and the Reno Chamber Orchestra. She serves on the advisory board of Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, is a member of the Disability Awareness Coalition of the Truckee Meadows, and is a Patroness member of Sigma Alpha Iota Women’s Music Fraternity.   • Sara Christine Rosenow, MA, MT-BC/L

    Sara joined us as Program Coordinator/Music Therapist at Note-Able Music Therapy Services in August 2011. Sara completed her graduate coursework at the University of Minnesota and music therapy internship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, and has broad experience in hospital, psychiatric, and community-based settings. Sara has also been singing classically for more than 10 years and enjoys singing with the Reno Baroque Ensemble and Reno Philharmonic Chorus. Email Sara at sara@note-ables.org.

  • Sheena Britschgi

    Sheena was hired as our Administrative Assistant in July 2008 and is currently our Executive Assistant. She has more than five years of experience in non-profits, volunteer management and community relations. She also holds multiple degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on Political Science, International Relations, English and Environmental Science. Email Sheena at sheena@note-ables.org.

  • Wendy Firestone

    Wendy is the PR/Marketing Coordinator at Note-Able Music Therapy Services. She has been working for and with the disability community since 1991. She worked for WARC from 1995 until 2010, and joined NMTS in April of 2010. She currently holds a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a Minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno. Email Wendy at wendy@note-ables.org.
